Inclusive Orthodoxy Newsletter
March, 2007

Christ is Risen: The world below lies desolate
Christ is Risen: The spirits of evil are fallen
Christ is Risen: The angels of God are rejoicing
Christ is Risen: The tombs of the dead are empty
Christ is Risen indeed from the dead,
the first of the sleepers,
Glory and power are his forever and ever

- St. Hippolytus (AD 190-236)

Updates:

To all the Western Christians out there: Christ is Risen! Happy Easter! Our Orthodox brothers and sisters will be celebrating Easter (Pascha) on April 27th, as the Western and Eastern Christian Churches follow a different calendar. As Inclusive Orthodoxy is ecumenical, shall we honor Easter twice this year?
Innocent

Not only was March 23rd Easter Sunday, but it was also me and my boyfriend Chris’ one-year anniversary of having been together!

In last month’s newsletter I cited the newly released DVD For The Bible Tells Me So and provided a link where one could pre-order a copy from Amazon. Just wanted to let you all know that copies are now available through Amazon http://astore.amazon.com/truthsetsfree-20/detail/B000YHQNCI/105-4345433-7886067

Quote for Reflection:

“For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prisonwho disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built….”  - 1 Peter 3:18-20
