What's a gay Christian?
 hristians
are people who follow Jesus Christ, recognize him as
the Savior of Humanity, and who affirm the core
teachings of the Christian faith. We believe he came
down to earth from heaven and become truly human. We
believe that for us and our salvation he was
crucified, died, and rose again on the third day.

A
gay person or homosexual is simply someone who is
physically and emotionally attracted to people of
the same gender, unlike heterosexual people who are
attracted to people of the opposite sex.
“Gay Christians” therefore are people who are
Christian and who happen to be attracted to people
of the same gender. While there are people who will
insist that a gay Christian is an an oxymoron, there
are thousands of gay Christians around the world who
have come to recognize that there is a place for our
at God's table and in God's Church and have been
able to hold firmly to their faith while not denying
who they are.
